Simple and easy to read for a busy gardener like me. I don't have time to read a lot for gardening, but I can open a page for the month and get to know what I need to do this month to prepare or maintain my garden. All zones are covered.

The gardener-to-gardener part of the book which basically is a published account of the common wisdom of gardeners was interesting. The rest was somewhat useful. The author tries to give suggestions by month for gardening activities by zone. So theoretically anyone can find a use for this book. I found the book a little too simplistic. To really detail out what a gardener in one region does over the course of a year, you'd need a book just for that region. I wanted to look at the journal and planning section of the book but it was just lined paper.
