We love this book. As part of the reference collection at the library, it was not until recently that we were allowed to check it out and bring it home. We've since borrowed it twice and I'm sure it will be back home within the next month. At over 600 pages, the book is a whopper. The photographs and pictures are well placed and the information is detailed but provided in such a way that the reader can read for details or scan for fun facts or match the names of creatures with their pictures.
