I put my kids to sleep early to start this book it's been on my want to read list for a minute this was a real page turner and omg it was good for this to be a part 2 of a book that was already out and had the perfect ending. everything weaven together just the right way and everything. the girl who brought the idea up for a Harlem girl lost II deserved a shout out , a pre re leased copy , or a character named after her.... just like the first book it was sad , good , then bad because of what the people went through .... seeing how life was before crack and heroin entered the world made me wish to live in a world like that again.... these girls lost half their lives over some b.s they didn't start I hate bullies, rapist, and the crooked people who work for the court and prison system. There's no way I'm gonna lick another woman's cooty Kat we just gonna have 2 fight it out..... I didn't like the girls had go to jail just to learn how to defend themselves but we gotta learn someway. Thankfully they didn't have to do life, everyone got what they deserved tbh damn I hated tiny sooo much then felt bad for her omg she got the worst end of the stick. Out of everyone Jessica and Vonda were the strongest in the long run I loved the back story on Chance 2 I wish this book came out first now I wanna go back and read part 1. Reading this book and seeing what everyone been through makes you want to get your life together especially if Vonda could do it hell everyone in her family were addicteds by the grace of God she was able to overcome it.

Mr Blue Truly out did himself with this book. I don't know how he does it but he has a way of describing the scene that makes you feel ( at least me ) that you are right there beside the characters. Book is highly recommend for those who like Urban Fiction

SURVIVAL OF THE FITTEST

Seniors in high school, Jessica Jones and her friends are excited about being released into the next phase in life. Contemplating college, experiencing puppy love and intentions on leave their merciless bullies behind are just a few of the plans they have. After an unforgettable night at the prom and an after party, life as they knew it quickly came to an end with one split decision. Convicted of a crime and having served her sentence, Jessica is released from prison and returns to her neighborhood. Now an entirely different world, she struggles to find traces of the life that she was once so familiar with. The community has been overthrown by the drug game and everyone she knows has been affected. Saddened by the demise of her home and enraged by constant intimidation, Jessica leads a movement to reclaim her home. Willing to sacrifice their lives, she and her friends take measures that could leave them all casualties of warfare.

Gritty and explicitly detailed, Harlem Girl Lost 2 by Treasure E. Blue is the epitome of genuine hood fiction. It was easy to tell why he is one of the reigning kings within this genre. As I read, I felt as if this story was representative of so many that do not have an opportunity to tell their own stories. I could not help but to feel for Jessica and her friends as they had to endure such a nightmare that would not only change their lives forever. Not only that, it also put them in a position where they must fend for their lives in order to survive. This is a wonderful story of triumph over tragedy and how the human spirit reigns even in the midst of constant chaos. If you are a true urban fiction reader, this title is for you. This is my first read by Mr. Blue, but it definitely won't me my last.

Harlem Girl Lost 2 by Treasure E.Blue tells the tale of four childhood friends Vonda, Lynn, Jessica and the envious Tiny who reside in Harlem, NY. Four best friends known as the "Get Em Girls".

The four are your average high school girls who are occupied with learning the latest dances and looking cute and attending college while possibly finding true love.

One fateful night after their senior prom changes their life forever when the four stand charged with murder and later convicted and sent to jail.

Seven years later the girls emerge from jail and return to their hometown to see a lot has changed and just as they are trying to get their life's back in order the oh so familiar aroma of drama finds them which has them having to make life or death choices, in order to not become another sad statistic.

This novel will have you heavily engrossed because of the author's ability to keep you wanting to know more. The carefully plotted storyline and the suspenseful drama keeps you glued to your book anticipating the next move.

Friends become enemies and the likely suspects are simple casualties of a cleverly executed plot courtesy of Treasure E. Blue.
This was my first time reading a book by the author and certainly will not be my last.

I thoroughly enjoyed reading Harlem Girl Lost 2 because it was action packed with suspense sprinkled throughout the novel. Harlem Girl Lost 2 was an engaging delightful read and sure to become this summer's must read book.

A New Beginning

In Harlem Girl Lost 2 author Treasure Blue offers readers an alternate reality. Instead of just continuing Silver’s story from where it left off at in part 1 Treasure decides to expound upon Silver’s mother, Jessica’s story. Readers of the first book will remember the tragic circumstances surrounding Silver’s conception and birth to a then teenaged Jessica. In the altered reality although Jessica doesn’t end up a teenage mother another tragedy befalls her that will have readers wondering as to why young Jessica can never catch a break? Dealing with an unplanned pregnancy will seem minute when compared to the atrocities Jessica has to endure in part 2.

The concept of Harlem Girl Lost 2 was refreshing and it worked because of the authentic way in which the characters remained true to themselves. Treasure was able to seamlessly recapture all of his characters’ personality traits and although their circumstances were different they still behaved in the manner in which readers were accustomed to. But what was even more remarkable was Treasure’s depiction of Harlem and what the crack epidemic of the 80’s did to its residents and neighborhoods. Harlem Girl Lost 2 provides a look at the ugly truth of how crack turned a community into a virtual wasteland that it took nearly 10 years to recover from. Being able to depict fact within his fiction clearly demonstrates Treasure’s natural talent for narrating.

TWO THUMBS UP
FINALLY A STORY LINE THAT CAPTURED MY ATTENTION FROM THE VERY BEGINNING, IF WE COULD GO BACK IN TIME AND DO IT ALL OVER AGAIN MANY OF US WOULD. TREASURE DID THIS IN THIS LITERARY MASTERPIECE.

This story takes you on an emotional ride into the lives of Jessica, Lynn, Vonda, and Tiny. On what seemed to be the happiest day of their lives they get caught up in something that changes their young lives forever.
Treasure is one of those writers that will draw you into his stories and never lets you go until you read the very last word.
Harlem girl lost 2 holds you hostage from the very beginning.

Treasure E Blue is not just your average author he is one of the best and I look forward to reading Harlem Girl Lost 3..

Just finished Harlem Girl Lost 2 and it was a really good read. This story follows Jessica and her 3 best friends as they grow up in Harlem. Growing up in harlem makes them grow up faster than they have to and also forces them to experience things they should not have had to exeperience. The girls go through so much and realize that in order to get through it they must stand by each other no matter what and that is what they try to do when they face their various obstacles. This was a true page turner with almost 600 pages I finished this book in two days and enjoyed every minute of it. I wanted to know what was going to happen next with the friends so I just had to keep reading. really great read I had this book for a while and finally decided to read it!! I will be reading more from Treasure Blue

I have had this book for more than a year and just decided to read it. I am so mad I waited so long to do so.

This book is still about a HARLEM GIRL LOST only its about Jessica-- Silver's mother-- and what could have happened if things went differently the night of that party that started it all. Instead, with this book we discover that what should have been the end of a wonderful prom night ended horribly wrong. Jessica and her three friends, Vonda, Lynn, and Tiny lives are changed forever. I will tell you they went to jail but I won't tell you why. I will also tell you that the crack epidemic played a major role in this story as well. The real story doesn't begin until after their jail time but baby!! I am still shaking from the twists and turns of this rollercoaster ride. Treasure Blue has done it again! I can't wait to get his newest book!

Drama at it's best. This was a great book. It draws you in from start to finish. It will make you cry, scream and want to get inside the book. (You know how when your watching a movie and your talking to the characters). This story had so many twist and turns I was getting frustrated and wanting to scream. Jessica, Vonda, Tiny and Lynn were such awesome ladies and they were strong. They endured a lot and came through. They had a very had life but in the end some made it and some didn't but through it all they were a team. My Favorite character was Chubby! Chubby just had some much since he was just a teddy bear living in a wolves world.

A definite page turner that grabs you from the very beginning. Jessica, Lynn, Vonda and Tiny are friends. They have issues with each other but in the end, they have each other's back. What started out as a great night ended in tragedy. These ladies are dealt a bad hand. They stick together to get through some very sticky situations.

The ending amazed me and has me waiting anxiously for a sequel.

My, My, My! This book was all that and a bag of chips. Treasure Hernandez out did herself with this one. The characters were wow! I can't say enough about Jessica, Lynn, Tiny & Vonda. They personified the meaning of friendship. Oh, and Kenny. He was something else and I was shocked and did'nt see it coming. Read book 1 first. Happy enjoyable reading.
