It's a recap of the movie, but you almost wouldn't know it it's been slimmed down so much! Still a cute story and my son adores Lightning McQueen and anything cars, so it was a winner. We received this book as part of the American Library in Paris' 2015 summer reading program.

Chose this book for story time at work to tie into the release of the new movie. It was cute, but that's about it.

pretty much a slimmed down recap of the film, without the spy elements.
