This one is about Mater being a spy and then getting rewarded by the Queen.

Ok... so I love the read alongs because they get my kids excited about reading and the library has a ton of them. Yes, it's just another mass produced Disney product recycling the same story we've already seen, but the kids really like them. My only problem with this one is that it's too well produced with a sound track and lots of extras.... yes the words light up as they read but there is so much going on that I don't think the kids follow the text at all. Still fun.

I read this to my nephew when it was first published. The story is great, has a great little message, and the illustrations are phenomenal. An enjoyable read.

It's a recap of the movie, but you almost wouldn't know it it's been slimmed down so much! Still a cute story and my son adores Lightning McQueen and anything cars, so it was a winner. We received this book as part of the American Library in Paris' 2015 summer reading program.

Velmi slabá dětská knížka k filmu. Textu je naprosté minimum, dceři jsem to přečetl za cca 10 minut.
Zcela zbytečně obsahuje velké množství jmen různých aut, které se vyskytnou v příběhu jen párkrát. Příběh je psaný zcela zmateně, často příliš dobře nenavazuje. Překlad ani nekoresponduje s dabingem filmu, který jsme viděli, což ještě přispívá ke zmatení. Občas se vyskytl i černý text na tmavém pozadí, který se velmi špatně četl.
Tuhle knihu nedoporučuji snad ani skalním fanouškům aut
