Interesting from a historical perspective - it was good to get a firmer grasp on the events surrounding the Welsh War of Independence however, the book lacks on the story-telling side.

I didn't quite believe in the characters, particularly the female characters were little more than thumb nail sketches so fail to make much of an impression.
