This story starts with a bit of a shock when the main character, Abe, gets beaten up for being gay. Since he was a Marine at the time, and this story is set before the end of DADT, the inevitable discharge follows. The remainder of the story is about his mental recovery and return to his home town where he tries to build a life for himself.

Abe doesn’t seem to learn his lessons very well. He is not about discretion and gets into trouble as soon as he runs into Cameron, a guy he remembers from sch

A good short story about an older gay ex-marine and a younger gay man. I like the way the younger, Cameron took charge.

Don’t ask, don’t tell is pretty much out the fuckin’ window when you get caught with your BDUs around your damn ankles and your cock up a random guy’s ass. That’s what I get for drinking too much and letting my libido take over.

Okay. A story begins this way and I am hooked. Right to the punch, Big Dog Daddy cards out on the table, the mood is set. Count me in.

First, let me say this is my first time to read the writing of Jambrea Jo Jones, although I’d heard many wonderful things about her books

When too much alcohol and a very bad choice leads to discovery of Abe Grissom’s secret life, his military ‘buddies’ show him what happens to gays in their platoon. The beating ends his military career, and he goes home to try and put his life back together and plan for the future. What he didn’t count on was running into someone who would rock his wor

Short hot story about a Abe, former Marine who is beat up before the end of DADT and Cam, a younger guy who has always had a crush on Abe. Nice to have two such loving caring (and matchmaking) parents as well.

Jambrea wanted to be the youngest romance author published, but life impeded the dreams. She put her writing aside and went to college briefly, then enlisted in the Air Force. After serving in the military, she returned home to Indiana to start her family. A few years later, she discovered yahoo groups and book reviews. There was no turning back. She was bit by the writing bug.
