Ghosts, accents and hot gay men. That is one of the easiest ways to hook a reader, presuming of course you like ghosts and your heart flutters when a gorgeous man whispers sweet nothings in slightly twisted little words.

The blurb has said everything to be said about the plot, so I won't repeat it.

This book has a potential to be a really nice book about choices in life. Does doing everything opposite to the expectation put forward by parents, friends, relatives, count as 'choosing' or simply a rebellious act? (view spoiler)
