I have been waiting what feels like forever for this book, but the wait was so worth it. Bloodcraft delivered and I was so happy to be back with these characters once again. Tori and Christian are as wonderful as I remembered.
Tori is a fantastic heroine. I love her because she is strong, but she isn’t infallible. She makes mistakes and does things you may not agree with, but her mistakes are what makes her relatable. Nobody is perfect and with ever ...more

I want to start by saying that when I first picked up BLOODCRAFT I was completely lost. I read BLOODSPELL, book one, about four years ago, that it was hard for me to remember certain things. I found myself lost for a while, but eventually everything started coming back to me, and my love for Victoria and Christian quickly reawakened. I remembered just how much I loved the world ...more

I LOVED finding out what happens next in Victoria's story. This book started off slightly slower for me than Bloodspell, but within the first 30 pages I was hooked and could not put it down. I imagery and language just get more powerful as the story evolves. If you like powerful women, witches, magic, and/or love - this is an amazing story!

are you sure you dont want to publish this year :) pretty please lol

The chemistry between Tori and Christian and that tension created by their forbidden love is on point from page one. The story is fast-paced and took an abundance of twists and turns. Tori is badass and quite the force to be reckoned with while still exuding teenager tendencies and insecurities. Everyone covets her and the power she holds and only she truly understand that it is a curse through and through. Christian is just perfect and the fact that he never gives up on Tori makes him that much

Um I was a bit confused. I recieved an arc from netgalley bir eas unaware that this was the second book. I will update when ive read the first!

"It thrummed in her veins as if sensing her ominous thoughts, its hunger unabated and ever-present. It, too, was voracious and would consume anything to sate its dark thirst—even the one she loved."
Amalie Howard is an author who's debut really stuck to me. I was a new blogger, pretty much just starting out in a new online community filled with incredible book readers, when I came across Amalie's then yet to be released debut "Bloodspell". It was at the peak of Paranormal Ro ...more

'Bloodcraft' is the thrilling second book in a New Adult paranormal series that will leave readers breathless and begging for more. The story continues to follow our heroine - Victoria "Tori" Warrick - a witch queen who's still trying to understand her family's blood curse, her powers, and all things related to witchcraft. She's a good main character for the series and we definitely see her grow and mature throughout the book. She becomes more comfortable with her powers and her role wi ...more

This is a well executed and crafted book. The first book is needed if you want a more in depth look at christian and victoria’s beginning but the rest is explained throughout the book. We learn about the crux of the curse and so much more. This is action packed and full of so much more.
Christian to me is a great vampire. He has compassion and loves with all that he is. He doesn’t care about norms or society only about love and living a life that he can life with and find acceptable. He isn’t you ...more

3.5 - 4 Stars in my Sky!
As a latecomer to Tori's and Christian's world I didn't have the long wait to read Bloodcraft and so the story was fresh in my mind. I think this really helped with the world building and I definitely preferred this instalment to Bloodspell. I would recommend reading the first book before starting Bloodcraft.

This book!! I've been waiting for this to come out ever since I finished book one and that felt like centuries ago. But damn every agonizing second of waiting WAS SO WORTH IT.
I was a bit scared to read this because I might not love it as much as I remember loving Bloodspell (it has been way too long) but I was sucked in from the start! Victoria has become more of a badass and Christian is just more irresistible and lovable. And they're so adorable together!

I love this series so much that now I am highly sad that I finished the book and I have a feeling that Bloodcraft was the last book in this series. Amalie wrote this book for the fans, for people like me who love Tori and Christian so much that we wanted more, I still want more but I am eternally grateful for this book.

4.5 stars – Gripping conclusion to this YA paranormal romance duology featuring witches and vampires. All similarities to ‘Twilight’ should be abandoned.
New characters are introduced and we discover even more about the supernatural world created by author Amalie Howard. In ‘Bloodspell’ we learn the lore of witches and the history of the Cruentus Curse. In its sequel, vampire legends are expanded upon beyond Le Sang Noir; we hear about the oldest vampires and their abilities, and what happens whe ...more

What a crazy way to end this series! I finally finished this series and I am not disappointed at all. I loved every single thing about this lovely addition. Victoria's and Christian's relationship goes through an even bigger test of strength in this book. Book one is practically nothing compared to what happens in this sequel. Old and new enemies are still out to get our main characters. They both continue losing people they love. So many sacrifices and tons of heartbreak just to be together. Th

Bloodcraft blew me away! Amalie’s gorgeous writing + an epic world + an intriguing plot + epic characters = another incredible book by Amalie Howard!
First of all, Amalie is a gorgeous writer. She creates these amazing worlds that just pull you in and refuse to let you go. I especially love the Bloodspell/Bloodcraft world. The magic, the rules, the history, it’s just all completely fascinating! And it makes sense, since I LOVE vampires and witches and always have! Amalie is also incredible at cre ...more

Tori is starting to get a handle on her blood curse and both Christian and her seem to be the perfect couple. Tori wants to learn more about the blood curse and how to control her powers but must make a big decision. If she is to proceed she has to give up her relationship with Christian. But attending Belles Fontaines is not going to be as clear cut as she thinks as many people want her powers or her death. She is going to have to fight to find her place in this world.

This series is freaking amazing. I loved it. I could not put this book down. You have to read Bloodspell first so you know what is going on. You will fall in love with the characters. I am part of The Two Brain blog so that is the reason why you see two reviews from us. We bought Bloodspell first to understand this book. Which would make no sense if you picked up this book first. Bloodspell was a great book. Thoroughly enjoyed Bloodcraft as well. I believe that this book is even better than the first. It is non stop. Something is always happening. Yes, at times I wanted to choke one(you know who) of the characters but at the end of the book, everything happens for a reason. I

Really good, but I definitely enjoyed the first book better.
Overall, I really enjoyed Bloodcraft. I went in to it with really, really high expectations and found myself disappointed because it didn't wow me as much as Bloodspell did. Even so, it's a good sequel and ending to the duology and am mostly happy with what I got.
Sad to see the world end so quickly though.... This is the last book right? I'm pretty sure it is because the ending was really satisfying. ...more

Cannot be read as a standalone.
I think I liked this slightly more than book 1, but I still wouldn't recommend this series to any of my friends.
The witches vs warlocks vs vampires was a bit tiring, and at moments I found Victoria exhausting.
I did like the romance with Christian... but I probably wouldn't reread this anytime soon.

I was so excited to read this book and it was so worth it. Like with the first book I love the characters the most,
Tori is a great as she is strong, but she does makes mistakes and Christian is so sweet.
The plot is great and will keep you on your toes with twists and turns all, I would highly recommend the series.

I had to buy the first book because I tried reading this one but got really confused. A definite must in order to understand events and people's reactions. With that said, this books plot was well developed and had so many different turns that it kinda gave me emotional whiplash. The forbidden romance escalates and changes throughout this book but I can say that Christian remains ever faithful and supportive of Victoria. There is development in handling the blood curse and learning more about it
