Read this not long after completing "Inca Land - explorations in the Highlands of Peru" if only because the Inca fascinate me - as do most ancient civilisations who seemed to be so advanced such a long time ago. What happened to all that knowledge..... Where did it go?
This book gives a bit more insight and some intriguing photos as well, into what the Inca had achieved over 500 years ago.
