New York Times and USA Today best-selling author Suzanne Forster is living proof of William Shakespeare’s maxim that the uses of adversity are sweet. Suzanne’s writing career began by accident. Literally. A car accident ended her dreams for a career in clinical psychology. During her recovery, she began writing to fill the hours, and before she was well enough to return to graduate school, she’d sold her first book and launched a new career.
Since then Suzanne has written more than thirty novels and been the recipient of countless awards, including The National Readers’ Choice Award for Shameless, her mainstream debut. She’s received recognition for outstanding sales from Waldenbooks and Bookrak, and her recent novel, Unfinished Business, was made into a movie for the Oxygen Network.
Suzanne has a Master’s Degree in Writing Popular Fiction, and she teaches and lectures frequently. Her seminars on Women's Contemporary Fiction at UCLA and UC Riverside were rated outstanding, and her most requested workshop, "The High-Concept Synopsis," is based on personal experience. Her breakout novel, Shameless, sold on a synopsis that triggered a bidding war and garnered her a six-figure contract.
Suzanne has received considerable media attention, including a feature segment on Extra, NBC's news and entertainment magazine, and an Emmy Award–winning "Special Report" on CBS Channel 23 News. Her many print appearances include the L.A. Times, the Philadelphia Inquirer, Redbook and Orange Coast Magazine

I liked the second story the most, 4 stars...
Calling the shots is not full of hot sex. It is basically 1 scene/day.
And it is all about trust, which in my opinion is more important than lust and can elevate your sex to another level.

This is 3-story anthology about the three partners of a lingerie company on the cusp of "making it big".

The first story is about Jamie. Unknown to the fashion world, he is the only male in the partnership. However, with all the hype on, the media wants to meet the designer of the revolutionary stunt lingerie. Panicking, he goes through his "black book" to find a girl he can pay to be him until the frenzy dies down. The woman who agrees does so with an ulterior motive, but all original plans backfire when love enters the picture.

The second story was about Lana, the control freak. Her lover has decided he wants more of her than just the physical aspect of things. He forces her to accept that sometimes, letting go can be just as pleasurable as being in charge.

The third story, was about Mia. Mia and her neighbour have been attracted to each other ever since. Over the years, they've become very good friends. Though Jake is willing to take things to another level, Mia is afraid of taking that step, in case it doesn't work out. After Mia, comes to him in desperation for help for the set for the fashion show, Jake decides to pursue Mia until she sees that they could only be good for each other.

The second story was a little too stilted, and I found myself wishing the story would end. There wasn't any "fun" in the story like the other two. I liked the first and third stories best, with the latter being my favourite, and the best, in my opinion. Ms. Shalvis made me not want to put down my Kindle.
