This book makes me hungry! 22-month old little-AJ and mummy love this book. The story has a cat, a little cut-out door flap at the 3rd page, a lot of foods (baked beans, pork pies, barbecued lamb etc), numbers (four strawberry ice-cream, five fish, six cupcakes etc), cute repetitive texts perfect for young toddlers, and a little funny twist of a cat with bloated tummy.

Lovely story about Hetty, a cat, that goes to lots of houses and eats lots (similar to the very hungry caterpillar).

Pamela Allen, born in April 1934, in Devonport, New Zealand[1] is a children's writer and illustrator. She has published over 30 picture books since 1980, when she moved to Australia. Eight of her books have been adapted for the stage by The Patch Theatre Company and performed at the Sydney Opera House. Pamela currently lives in Auckland.
