Krathwohl presents a comprehensive look at research, including the nature of research, research methodologies, research skills and concepts, and statistical tools and processes. He emphasizes understanding of the chain of reasoning as a conceptualization of the fundamental logic underlying the presentation of data in support of a generalization. Krathwohl uses actual studies to illustrate thoughts and concepts about research. Strengths and weaknesses of quantitative and qualitative studies are explored and discussed.
