Love these letters from long-term thinking families that stay together! Loved reading all these different ideas of family. The lessons I took away were: emphasize togetherness, have family meetings, bring kids to work from a young age, only invite into your business those family members that are competitive according to the market and make them start at the bottom, never go public, never go into debt, plan for two generations to work together 15+ years for an easy transition, healthy soil makes healthy families.

The real value of the family business is that it keeps the family together and helps in establishing and maintaining the family culture.
