5 plus stars!!! Highly recommend this commentary. This book is going right to my keeper shelf and will be a reference and a reread.

This book is so well-written and breaks down each verse in Galatians. It also showed me how legalism can creep in there in your life, and you start to have these rigid rules that apply more than what Jesus did for us. That has happened to me in the past.

Jesus + Something = Nothing
Jesus + Nothing = Everything

Quotes from the book:
"If you believe in Jesus Christ, you have been set free. Instead of going back into some form of slavery, whether to legalism or to sin, use your freedom to live for Christ and serve him as he desires."

"When we come to Jesus Christ, he accepts us all. He offers salvation personally and universally to anyone who will come to Him."

Highly, highly recommend!

As the title promises, this was very strong on practical application. It showed how we get caught up in the same kinds of things we are reading about from 2000 years ago. It's often more difficult for us to see it in a contemporary way. This commentary helps open one's eyes to contemporary issues.
