First off, a book that’s title is fifty percent lies is off to a bad start. There are 100 stories and they are short (or little), but they are overall not hilarious or howlers. The stories are not all bad, so many are bad and, even if they are good, they aren’t all that humorous.

I struggled to read this book, and seriously considered quitting at about the half way point. This is something I’ve actually never done. Rather than quit, I decided to continue reading and if I hit a story that just did

Martin Harry Greenberg was an American academic and speculative fiction anthologist. In all, he compiled 1,298 anthologies and commissioned over 8,200 original short stories. He founded Tekno Books, a packager of more than 2000 published books. In addition, he was a co-founder of the Sci-Fi Channel.
