This is a cool little book. The copy I have is hardback, but spiral bound inside, making it handy to have in the sewing room. She does a pretty darn good job walking through all of the steps following the completion of your quilt top. She includes a lot of tips learned from beginners' mistakes, and I can honestly say that I feel quite a bit better about tackling machine quilting after reading this book.

The is THE book for finishing a quilt after it's been pieced. It's hardcover with a stay-flat binding so you can look at it while quilting, eating cereal, etc. Swell photos and illustrations and a million ideas and techniques. Even includes tips for people with weak hands, knees, etc. If you're into quilting, you must have this book!

I was so fortunate to take a class taught by Charlene Frable this past weekend. She is a wonderful teacher, so knowledgeable and eager to help you learn her techniques for machine quilting. This book covers all the information you will need to develop skill in the art of free motion quilting. I love her philosophy, "Quilting is not the art of perfection... it is the illusion of it."
