Shorts by (then) new writers. Some good, a few excellent. Beautiful original illustrations. Essays by stalwarts like Roger Zelazny, Theodore Sturgeon and Robert Silverberg.

old science fiction is pretty much my favourite thing. this book has a whole bunch of short stories, and some essays on the genre, the contest, and the nature of scifi itself.
