I picked up the book due to its theme and tag line. After finishing the book, I didn't know where to start on my hatred for the book. I hated all the characters and their stories. I tried to put myself in their shoes but couldn't imagine I could do such actions. If you sell yourself for money, don't try to talk and whine about love. The author simply explained the intrigue of their actions is "a moth dives to the light without thinking." No, they thought, they did think and they knew they were selling bodies and souls for money. I could empathize those lives but couldn't bring myself to agree with or even accept their actions.

Basically a book based on how a group of woman from China are vying to trick as much money as they can from men in Singapore & the length of trouble they went into just to get a PR status in Singapore. This will book open your eye to the harsh cruelty of life for China women in Singapore. Fake tears, jealousy ,sex & fake companionship coloured this book. It sickens me to see how people can manipulate each other to get what they want.
