This book lays out the Heart of Wisdom approach to homeschooling, and mind you I do not recommend any certain style for each family. I was very impressed with this book and the lengths it took to apply biblical wisdom and foundation to the family and it's educational choice.
I think the book is a bit lengthy, but it has numerous pages of resources. It addresses several methods of homeschooling, and analyzes them to see whether they fit with scripture.

I was extremely impressed with this book. While most homeschooling novels lay out the WHY but forget to detail the HOW, this book has both theological exposition and practical how-to to it. It was the first encouraging homeschooling book I read that made me go "wow, I can do this!" HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.
Wow, want to turn your homeschool philosophy upside down? or Right side up? Love this book. Lots of food for thought. Because of this book, we are putting the Bible First philosophy into practice with our History Study this year, using The Adam to Messiah curriculum. Without this intro, we wouldn't have found Ruth Beechick's books.
