Following on the success of 1,001 Delicious Recipes for People with Diabetes, the editors have compiled favorite recipes for snacks, appetizers, side dishes, cakes, pies, cookies — even ice cream — that are low in fat, carbs, and sodium, created especially for people with diabetes. Easy to make, most dishes take less than 20 minutes to prepare and use fewer than four ingredients plus condiments. In addition, this user-friendly cookbook also has suggestions for stocking the pantry and recipes that children will enjoy.
I'm not sure why this is titled "easy", as most of these are from scratch recipes. While I would love to have the time to shop and cook for hours, sadly the majority of women no longer have the luxury of spending that much time on meals.
Although I haven't tried any of the recipes, there are several I intend to use. They look they might be tasty ways to stick with a healthy diabetes eating plan.
Q&A Style Mini-recipes. A lot of them sound really delicious. Most of the recipes only take up one side of a page for the recipe itself and the cooking instructions.
