Playwright is actually Nirjay Mahindru

This play is Shakespeare-meets-India, reminiscent of A Midsummer Night's Dream. It has intrigue, a bit of farce, love triangles, delusions of grandeur and some characters speak in rhymes or asides to the audience which I think add to the charm.

I feel the play was written for an Anglo-British audience, not for Indians, based on certain words/phrases that were "translated." But this aspect broke the spell for me, made characters seem less authentic.
