When Seth O'Connor pulls Gabrielle Sherborne out from under her wrecked car in the middle of an icy river high in the Canadian Rockies just before Christmas, he never thought someone might actually be gunning for the infamous wild child of the famous Hollywood director, Cameron MacKenzie Sherborne III, and the family that puts up with her antics.

Told by his superiors to insert himself into the Sherborne family and protect Gabrielle, Seth learns that the former film star is anything but a brat. She's all woman, incredibly sexy and smart, with a vulnerability that eats right through the armor over his heart. Closing her eyes, and counting to ten . . . Breathe in, breathe out. Christmas break is over in two weeks right? Most people can't wait to spend time with their families over the holiday break. Gabrielle just wants to get away from all the awkward. Always feeling like the family klutz, the one who brings the family name down, she just wants this holiday to be done.

Seth O'Connor was just happy to be home. Ready for a little "normal" time in his life. That small piece of normal, didn't last very long. After something unknown catches his attention, he see a Mustang flying down the road at a crazy rate of speed. Jumping in his truck, he is able to keep up the Mustang enough to know something is wrong. The Mustang isn't stopping because the driver can't make it stop . . . up a head a very dangerous curve, quick thinking and perfect timing. Seth is able to aid the driver in avoiding the dangerous curve, however, it puts the Mustang in the freezing river near by. After Seth pulls Gabrielle from the river he realizes . . . I am in the presence of Gabrielle Sherborne. Her father Cameron Mackenzie Sherborne a big name in Hollywood, a film producer and entertainment entrepreneur.

Off active duty, Seth just wants to relax. However, after returning to the crash site with a buddy and scuba gear, to try to retrieve Gabrielle her camera and laptop, Seth finds more than what he went for. Someone didn't want that Mustang to stop. After snapping photos of the device that was use and sending them for information, Seth is put back on active duty. Job description: Protect Gabrielle Sherborne.

Take a wonderful ride with Gabrielle and Seth, as they discover their lives are about to cross paths in ways they could never imagine. Gabrielle and Seth learn about one another, encouraging a bond neither expected. If Seth can just deal with the nuts in her family tree . . . this may very well be her little piece of paradise, and his as well.

I enjoyed this book very much, and would highly recommend to anyone who enjoys a little romance and suspense.

Fatal Wild Child is an entertaining, romance with thriller action. Good story but the ending is a little abrupt. Gabriella is a bad girl actress trying to clean up her life. Seth is an Canadian undercover special ops soldier who can’t have a real relationship because of his job. But what are they going to do now that sparks are flying?!

A thoroughly enjoyable read. I love Tracy's writing style, it is suspenseful and dramatic. This story starts off on a wild ride down the mountain and doesn't stop. Romance and fighting for one's life. what a mix. Thanks Tracy for a great story.

I loved this intense and intimate dramatic romance!
Talk about a feel-good story!! This book is a delightful mix of romance and drama with well-written interactions between characters that drew me in for the ride! I love an exciting story that develops around the romantic interactions of the main romantic leads. Fatal Wild Child delivers everything that I love about a romance in spades and is completed with some steamy sexual tension and hot sexy scenes.
Author Tract Cooper-Posey develops lead characters who are interesting and complex so their interactions together are three dimensional because I feel like I know them. Having read this book as the first of the box set Thrilling Affair I’m now looking forward to escaping into the next novel(s)….

Romantic thrillers are hit and miss for me so I was really happy to read this story. These are smart and powerful adults that were a relief to read about after too many YA novels. The plot moves quickly and ends that way too.

Who took care of the dog though?
