The book is a travelogue of a woman who traveled the road alone driving a JEEP pulling a 33 foot trailer. Mobile homes were very new, and a woman doing this alone was unusual. She had a photo lab in the trailer. Very interesting story, nice historical perspective of the Alaska Hwy.
