When Beandom is under attack King Limalot calls together his most trusted advisors to help rid the kingdom of the monster.

Each advisor has his own idea of how to vanquish the Megasaurus. Howl the Owl believes that pancakes will do the trick. Towel the Owl thinks that bows and arrows will work and Vowel the Owl thinks building a strong rock wall will keep the Megasaurus away!

The Megasaurus is a one in a series of fully illustrated hardback children's books for kids aged 4-8. I am ahem…over 40…and they absolutely crack me up. In The Megasaurus, The Kingdom of Beandom is in trouble. A monster, The Megasaurus, is scaring the kingdom and his favorite food is, you might have guessed, it beans! L. I really dislike this book and cringe every time my son brings it to me to read to him. The plot is lacking and the characters don't make a lot of sense to me. I might recommend it to an older child but not to a parent reading for their younger children.
