Madoka and Shikura-kun's relationship is now officially parent approved. And Momoki-kun seems pleased to be called by his first name! With no complaints or worries to speak of, things are going great for the two! But Koga-kun can't contain his feelings for Madoka, and now he's making a move?! Will Madoka find herself torn between two cute guys?! Her heart will not be swayed! ...Right?
Kawahara and Shikura date a bunch. For some, a boring manga. For me? Absolute perfection.
This won’t take long. I love this series. It is adorable. The art is a gift that keeps on giving with facial expression, chibi, perspectives of various characters, and lots and lots of smouldering.
These two are absolutely delightful as a couple and their chemistry is just perfect. They introduce the dreaded No-Chance Rival and he’s nice but utterly pointless in taking on this role because there is no world where our leads aren’t meant for one another.
And they do so, so much with that. These two can’t help but be adorable to one another and whether they’re shopping or cooking or being needlessly jealous, it’s just a pure dollop of joy.
They’re bashful around one another. They’re bold around one another. They get flustered. They get brave. They feel like a good love story should and I’m very, very okay with it.
It’s as sweet as candy and as spicy as, uh, spicy candy. And has a very sharp sense of humour as well. They can even laugh together. Like, seriously, this series just gets better as it goes.
Minus the rival bit. That really shouldn’t have happened, sigh, but it didn’t completely impact my enjoyment. If rivals ruin your day, do be warned, as this one is like strawberries on an avocado burger.
4.5 stars - docked for the dumb rival thing with the nice guy who should know better, but otherwise this continues to be an absolute blast and one of my favourite series right now.
I hate from the bottom of my heart the direction that is being taken with Koga-kun To be honest, stories taking that turn have made me drop them or hate the story but because I really like this one I will give the benefit of the doubt to see what happens This really really downgraded the story for me :(

What the FUCK. WHY IS MINATO GETTING IN THE WAY. WHYYYYY. HE BETTER STAY AWAY IF HE KNOWS WHATS GOOD FOR HIM. Other than that nuisance this volume was so cute. Shikura is just the cutest ml ever and is surprisingly so flirty. Madoka is so lucky😭 I love the way their relationship is progressing although I would love if they communicated a bit better to avoid a huge misunderstanding that I know is coming😭😭
I've said this before and I'll say it again: the unnecessary addition of a second male lead is one of the worst tropes in shoujo romances.
Plus, they almost always make the second male lead a piece of shit. My guy really says, "I won't give up on her" (or something like that) towards a girl who's happily taken??? Like, if you find out that the person you like is already dating someone else, why would you continue to pursue them? 🫠
RECAP: Madoka starts using Momoki’s first name. She goes to get him a birthday present and runs into him at the mall. She’s shifty the whole time and then finally explains why she’s there. She buys him a pair of earrings. Then there’s cute moments and lot of jealousy. Koga admits to Momoki that he likes her and ends with studying so Madoka won’t fail her exams and miss her dare with Momoki.
You’re my cutie is adorable it’s a sweet love story between Madoka and Shikura-kun. Madoka is obsessed with younger guys falling for older girl manga. So when her dad’s new employee happens to be a younger attractive guy she can’t help the attraction. However, Shikura-kun isn’t like the guy she expects and instead it’s her bringing him out of his shell.
I picked this one up as a whim and ended up staying up late to read all 5 volumes that are out. This one is lovely the relationship is sweet and both characters complement each other. I hope we get more from the series. The artwork is as lovely as the story. The author did a beautiful job creating a captivating story.
More of a 3.5 star rating; I really like that in this we get to see Koga be more confident in his developing feelings for Madoka, and to the point where he openly admits them. I also enjoyed seeing Madoka show off Shikura to her friends, then be very determined in her studies so that she can spend more time with him. Overall, I’m very curious going into this volume since Koga is now an official love rival.

The second male lead reminds me of Momiji from Fruits Basket but in this world he doesn’t want to lose the girl to someone else again. That said, I hate that he knows she likes someone but is still after her and I hate that her boyfriend is a jealous child. Despite this, the story continues to be gripping and I want to read more!
So far there is nothing special in this series ((–well, for me at least)). Everything, be it plot, storyline, characterization, are recycled. But Momoki Shikura is so so charming. He carried the whole plot on his back ((and obviously, his face)).
no me gusta que koga ahora sea oficialmente rival de momoki. creo que el agradecimiento que siente por madoka puede manifestarse de un millon de otras maneras sin ser el centro del conflicto pero bueno hay que ver como de desarolla nunca hay que perder la fe
This manga series is my cutie. I read all seven volumes within twenty-four hours and enjoyed all of them. Madoka and Momoki are so cute and communicative. I can't wait for the next volumes.
