Rate this book
The writings of Thomas Kelly, Douglas V. Steere, and D. Elton Trueblood have become classics. A new edition of Thomas Kelly's The Eternal Promise leads off the Contemporary Quaker Classics. Added to this collection of essays by Kelly is "Have You Ever Seen A Miracle?" and "Children of the Light." In addition, an introduction by Howard Macy and an index make this edition of The Eternal Promise especially valuable. Rounding out the set are Prayer and Worship (Steere) and The Trustworthiness of Religious Experience (Trueblood).Speaks to the scientific skeptic who has rejected spirituality as a trustworthy basis for Truth.
