Theodore Roosevelt Crenshaw – the Teddy of the title – has it all. We encounter him in his teenage years as a tall, blonde-haired Adonis, nature-born to have fun in the Californian sunshine. This book was so engrossing I read it in one setting. In one sense it is a mystery story but what moved me most of all was its fascinating descriptions of all kinds of interesting somewhat offbeat characters. What a story! "Teddy and Teri" is a book I couldn't put down. It was a bit of a guilty pleasure to read.
It's so full of unexpected things, and at the total center of the story is Teddy, and the love of his life, his daughter Teri. It gets to be a tangled web as the different people in Teddy's life keep secrets and relationships ebb and flow, with much drama and life events. It's a good story, because
