These 50 easy-to-do patterns from Family Circle magazine offer something for every member of your family, for every season. “Many of the patterns cover a wide range of sizes. There are many companion knits for the family and a good selection of men’s sweaters...all of the projects are attainable by the average knitter. Generally recommended.”— Library Journal.
Another decent-but-not-great book from Family Circle, this time concerning basic sweater designs for the beginning knitter, or any knitter who wants something quick and/or easy. Many of the designs are very strange and IMO unwearable, but there are a couple that were very nice; the usual Family Circle melange. All photographed adequately if not prettily, and well-described pattern write-ups. Many use large needles, though, which is a personal dislike of mine (don't enjoy working with anything larger than #8) and the sizings aren't terribly generous. Still, not a bad book, just not a particularly good one.
