This small book is an extremely useful reference for doing a literature review, including the systematic literature review method.
It was easy to read, and categorized in a way that allows you to tap into the specific topic you need.

12 years are quite a long time when it comes to research methodology literature, but this book has aged quite well. The distinction between a traditional and a systematic review is clear and not biased towards the latter. The description of how and why to do either is generalized enough to be inclusive of a wide sphere of disciplines, but still pragmatic enough to be useful. I totally recommend this book for new researchers!
