Rate this book
A poor boy named Aladdin asks for a wish from his genie, that wish is to be a Prince so he can win the heart of the beautiful Princess Jasmine. The wise genie does not want to grant this wish, for he knows that it is better for someone to love you for who you truly are, than to love you for something you are not. But Aladdin does not listen. Find out about the adventures of young Alladin after being granted the wish.

I usually love reading the kids stories of Aladdin and Jasmine, but this adaptation really isn’t the greatest. It only tells part of the story and leaves out some really important snippets.

"Long ago across the sea, there lived a poor but worthy youth. Aladdin was his name". As the story goes, poor made rich, get's the girl and fights the bad guy. Plenty of redemptive material to build off here.
