Reading this with my kids, and enjoying it too. Probably one of the best history textbooks I've ever had!

This is a textbook from the late 1970s that paints the US as a huge success story and ignores just about any problem that came up. Imperial overstretch? Vietnam as a "problem"... It is indoctrination for the right wing.
