HIPPAA Hysteria took me into a world totally alien to me. I never give a thought to such things as the regulations of hospitals and doctors and all the red tape. Normally I would not even be interested. But when this book landed in my hands I was in the mood for a diversion and a good read so I thought, "why not?" So I picked it up and read it. I won this signed advanced copy in a Goodreads contest.

I was so excited to start this book. However, it was such a let now.

I am in the insurance field and have worked in HR and also in hospital billing. I didn't think I would have any problem following this story. Boy was I wrong! This book had way too much terminalogy in it for me. It felt like I was being hit over the head w/ all the terms.

The majority of this book felt like a "what not to do" regarding HIPAA laws. There were entire pages of

HIPAA Hysteria was a great read. The way the author wove his knowledge of the military, the legal system and HIPAA compliance laws together was brilliant. He compelled the story forward with a tasteful romantic plot that really allowed my own imagination to soar. I couldn’t put the book down until I had finished reading it. I am looking forward to reading more of his novels and hope to see a sequel to this one.
