Each of these 50 crocheted sweater designs complete, row-by-row instructions; is illustrated in a colour photograph; and carries a suggested skill level. The patterns vary from geometrics and stripes, to delicate filet and floral motifs. Styles include V-necks, crew necks and boat necks.
Honestly, this is only any good as a vintage coffee table book. the instructions and charts are often unclear, and in multiple cases the wrong photo or diagram is used - they seem to be completely jumbled later in the book. Added to that the knitted elements, and the fact that the difficulty levels don't seem to mean a thing, along wkth a multitude of other problems, and this is a book I would likely never use, which is a shame as I was hoping to make some slightly retro creations. Overall, I would certainly not recommend this title, especially to a beginner.
