This book had the more well known saints listed for most days of the year. There was a summary about the life of the Saint, a bit about prayers said during the mass on the feast day, and a short prayer. I found this book was written
more for priests than a person like myself who is mostly interested in the saints’ lives and prayers for them to intercede for us. I found also that the masses said today on certain saints’ feast days didn’t even follow what was said in this book. It seems that the less popular a Saint is, or if the saint lived many centuries ago, the more likely they may not even get mentioned during the mass on their feast day.
