Lovely read about one of the coolest humans. Didn’t need an art major to enjoy it.

A visually satisfactory introduction to Munch, but Hodin's commentary is disappointing: I expected more from a writer who actually knew Munch.

This book was difficult to read at points due to the organization of ideas. This book couldn’t decide if it was a biography or analysis of Munch’s work. Definitely tried to do too much in 200 pages.

Nice book.

It benefits from having an author who personally knew Munch.
