Good

Good easy read. Murder mystery with some comedy thrown in to make a good story. I have read all the Thea Campbell books and like them all. Can't give it a 5 star as there should be more about the horses. Hope there are more books to come.

Levels of Deception is the second book in the Thea Campbell Mystery series, and picks up roughly where the first book, Death By A Dark Horse, left off.

After dancing around each other throughout Dark Horse, Thea and sexy palaeontologist Paul are finally together, but it’s not all romance and sunshine. Concerned for her safety, Paul is determined to put a stop to Thea’s amateur sleuthing, even if it’s his own life on the line. That he doesn’t trust her only riles up Thea’s infamous temper, meaning

This is book two in the Thea Campbell series.

I found this book to be rather amusing. It took me a while to really get in to it, but it turned out to be quite good.

Thea Campbell, work at home accountant, and Paul, the sexy paleontologist are together, even though he’s in Montana for a dig. The two find themselves right in the middle of a murder mystery when the department chair is found dead and fossils are missing.

The problem with Thea is she is hard-headed, nosy, and an amateur detective. Her

A good mystery

I loved this book for it's fossils and horse as much as it's mystery. It's portrayal of their growing relationship and family ties had me either laughing deep into my belly or irritated, sad, or angry.

I won Levels of Deception from First Reads. I look forward to reading it now that its arrived. It's in the pile.

I'm afraid I just couldn't finish this. The editing mistakes were driving me mad. Sorry Ms. Schreyer. I won't give it a star rating because I feel that would be unfair.
