While I do like guinea pugs, this story was hard for me to follow, so I'm not sure how good it is for emerging readers.

This is like... inception.. for beginner readers. I didn’t let my beginner reader watch that film... maybe this book is letting me know that was a bad parenting choice. Hmmm..

This is a cute story about a classroom hamster named Fluffy that gets to go home with a student over the Christmas holiday. He has a sweet adventure that kids will enjoy. Fluffy has a mildly smart aleck mouth, but it's cute.
