Storied Lives: Discovering and Deepening Your Personal Myth

Most books on discovering one's "personal myth" focus on uncovering the general patterns or scripts of a life. STORIED LIVES by depth psychologist Craig Chalquist, PhD goes much farther by showing how specific myths play out from cradle to grave. Personal accounts of discovering and working with these myths enliven the book's emphasis on refashioning these plot lines from the inside out.

I watched the author's brilliant presentation on this topic during the "Engage the Shadow" webinar series by Jung Platform. I ended up buying this book and reading it. A quick read, this book is pretty enlightening. I've also signed up for his course on the site.

The concept he presents here is certainly eye-opening and made me look at my life's journey with a new perspective. Suddenly, there is so much more to explore within my own journey! I look forward to the insights I will discover!
