Rate this book
Most dream dictionaries contain brief, overly generic meanings of the universal symbols that appear in our dreams. Dream Sight is different. With in-depth, classic meanings and an empowering technique for personalized interpretation, Dream Sight is the most complete and balanced guide to understanding your dreams.

Based on twenty years of experience, psychologist and renowned dream expert Dr. Michael Lennox presents his easy and practical three-step approach. Begin by reading the universal symbols in your dreams, then consider the context, and finally pinpoint your unique personal associations. This method leads to deeper, more profound interpretations that will unlock the mysteries of your unconscious mind. You'll also get insight into common types of dreams—recurring, precognitive, nightmares, and more—plus advice for remembering your dreams and looking at them objectively.

Combining warmth and a touch of irreverence, Dream Sight is both a unique teaching tool and a fun reference guide that gives you everything you need to understand your dreams and your innermost self.

Features an alphabetized list of over 300 dream symbols and images with classic meanings

"Dr. Lennox is a brilliant alchemist with wisdom, vision, and skill. He masterfully directs his clients to the world within to gain access to their power and redirect their lives with precision."—Dr. Alex Charish, creator of the fitness program Exercise for Real People™

I purchased this book in order to analyze my dreams in a straight forward manner. Because I am still delving into it, and this may require a few times, I'm not sure if it offers what I am capable of understanding. It is definitely packed full of information however. Dream subject matter is categorized alphabetically by subject. People really dream about broken bones? I guess they do; it's listed as a dreamm subject.

I am now finished with the book and have had time to reflect on the information about dream meaning. I would still give the book the same amount of stars - it's only as good as the individual who analyses their dreams. I have to say that I was able to use some relevant interpretations.

I loved the book as much as I love dreams. This is a really good book to teach you about dream interpretation and dreams in general. I highly suggest you read it if you're an enthusiast. I also really like the cover, which was actually what made this book stand out for me between all the rest.

You could set down and read this book whole or keep it by your bed as a reference guide to your dreams, as i am. I have gone thought a good deal of this book and think of it more as a "go to when needed" than a "to read now book". This book has a large selection of common thing that pop up in dreams and what they could mean. 375 pgs. of everything from falling, driving, dogs, cats, to different colors and numbers. It answers your dream by first stating the outline of what this one thing represents (definition). Then ask how it played out in the dream such as, was it you, was it scary, what else was involved, ect. Then gos on to break down the meanings in different ways that it could mean. That was the winner for me, not only dose it give the main definition of the subject but breaks it down to a better understanding of what it means in the whole. This one is definitely a good nightstand book to have for someone who pays attrition to their dreams.
