The author doesn't take physical needs in account, at least not enough. The average person doesn't get aroused when famished, cold and/or exhausted. Even less... (view spoiler). Same for life-changing decisions or conversations. To her credit, she's not the only one.
Otherwise, it was a classic, rather sweet story, a fast and undemanding read.

Fast-paced and fun!

This novella grabbed my attention from the start as it opens with Bella, our tomboyish heroine, climbing into a naked man’s bedroom. But not just any naked man’s bedroom, this man, Gilbert, was once her closest friend and she’s sought him out to help her escape her impending marriage to her repulsive cousin, Edgar.

Gilbert doesn’t recognize her at first and reacts as any man in his condition would when he sees a beautiful girl: he sweeps her into his arms and under him, then ki
I cannot find anything to like in this novel. The heroine wavers from being absolutely in control of what she does to been a whimpering wuss! Too many contradictory things happening. And what irked me most was the epilogue!

short but cute - didn't really feel like it was lacking anything for as short as it was - intrigued enough to want to check out other books in the series

Very fast paced when enough going on to keep you reading
