This is a must read book for anyone considering a career in the legal field or attending law school. I discovered it midway through my law school journey, when I began to question my decision. The book helped me to discover my reasons for attending law school and my reasons for staying. It also helped confirm what I knew all along, the legal field is not for me. Reading this book earlier could have saved me a lot of time, money, and stress.

There are much better books for career-analysis, but this one is a good first step for the legal field. For those considering law school, follow this with a more detailed analysis like "Law School Confidential" (Miller) or similar.
