I received this book as a First Reads Giveaway; thank you Mandy! My copy arrived shortly before a trip across country and it was perfect for the plane ride.

Loved this book. It was an easy read for me. It's a great chapter book for 4th, 5th, and 6th graders (and even younger advanced 2nd or 3rd grade readers).

Only one typo stands out in my memory (though there may have been another). This one stands out because it's about a phone. One character picked up the "received" instead of "receiver."

I am now in search for detective stories for my 6 year old daughter (who also doesn't read English, so I must translate)
This was the nice story - I like it! Flows smoothly, is logical and funny. The school pet hamster is missing... Wouldn't it be easy to simply replace it with a new one from the pet shop? Cece and Dee Dee agree - no!
A fine detective story for kids about 8-10 years old, I think my daughter is a little small for it, she would't follow some lines, probably, it's a bit complicated
