This is a great overview of all the changes women will experience in midlife. It was published in 2000 and I’d love to see an updated version. More than a few major scientific data discoveries mostly about cancer would contradict some of the content in this book. Still, I recommend it because it covers all the topics you would need to know about but your doctor might not think to talk to you about, including tests and screenings. Just do your own research in addition.

A friend of mine just suggested I read this. She owns a copy, and so does her mom and her sister. Sounds like I need to figure out some stuff. Recently I decided to blame last year's weight gain of 20 lbs on hormones...nothing else explains it. I'm having more weird things happening with my body and I need some freaking answers!!!
