Holy aah. I deeply did not like this. Maybe it’s cuz I just read earnest. What was the plot? What was it about? What redeemed these characters? The blowjob part made me deeply unnecessarily uncomfortable. If I ever see a production of this I am not going near.

Really enjoyed this. The relationship between the Effy and Franklin is very sweet. A little sad when he comes home from the war but lots of humor, some kind of dark humor. Would be fun for a theatre group or reader's theatre. For more mature readers/actors/audiences.

Loved Certain scenes.

This is a horrible, awful play that made me sick to my stomach.

But it's worth the read all the same.
