I thought it was okay, even though I didn't like the names for the humans...Pop-Up, seriously. I ended up just calling him Pop.
I think the only reason my son sat through it, was because he loves anything that has to do with Farms. other than that, I don't think he would've liked it.
The first thing he said when we finished was, "that was long". I have to agree, it was a bit long winded.

Other than that, the drawings and story was okay.

My three-year-old LOVES this book. However, that being said, it is not my most favorite book to read. THe pictures aren't my favorite and it is a little long to read over and over. But, I always give 4 stars to any books that Collin wants to read a zillion times a day.

And I shall dub this the Dumpy origins book. My nephew will enjoy it. Actually I think my tinkering niece will enjoy it as well. Once again focused on reaping the non monetary rewards of hard work and effort.

i thought the story was pretty good, though the illustrations were just okay. My budding reader wasn't interested at all.
