أحد الكتب التي تُعنى بآدات البيت المسلم وأسلوب تعامل أفراده بعضهم بعضًا
من مثل حسن اختيار الجيرة واختيار المنزل نفسه وتكوين مكتبة به
وعدم جعل البيوت كالمقابر بعدم قراءة القرآن فيه أو الأذكار والصلوات
ومراعاة الرفق بين أهل البيت والحفاظ على الأسرار
أو مراعاة تُقى من يُتعامل معهم ممن يكثرون زيارة البيت..وهكذا
هو يشبه كتاب سعيد حوى الذي قرأته من قبل قوانين البيت المسلم
وإن كنت أرى أن كتاب الشيخ المنجد يتحدث بشكل مجمل
بالمقارنة بكتاب الداعية سعيد حوى الذي يتّسم بالاسترسال في ذكر التفاصيل بدون إطالة.

I really enjoyed this book, but it did the one thing I really dislike. It is written as if only a man would read it, and a book for recommendations for the home should be written for men and women. Especially since there was a whole section in the book about how important it is for women to learn what is in the book!
A succinct yet informative read. In 93 pages the author summarizes how an ideal Muslim home should be like. It gives a step-by-step guidance for different stages of life and the pros and cons of every choice that we make.
The low rating reflects the content of the message. This book is published by an Islamic publishing house and reflects what "good Muslims" must do within the family. It would be an interesting read for folks who would like an inside look at how Muslims view their responsibilities within the home. I'll leave the judgment to other authors; but, it is enlightening, although not necessarily uplifting.
I really liked some parts of the book. Some parts, though, I feel like it needed more elaboration. I have no idea when this book was published but it was interesting to see that it was not too 'old' as some explanations were relatable.

Most of the book was actually dedicated to proper praying techniques, was hoping for more stuff regarding home life. Guess men don't know a lot about that.

كيف تصلح حال منزلك عن طريق تطبيق القواعد والأحكام الشرعية , فتطبيق الشرع بالمنزل = صلاح المنزل .
صراحة لم أشعر أن الكتاب قدم الكثير , ولا أعرف سنة كم صدر الكتاب لأن بعض الفقرات تحتاج إلى تعديل . استغربت شيئين في الكتاب ( النصيحة 19 , النصيحة 25 ) .

I gave this book two stars, one for a better quality of cover design than is often found on Islamic books, and one star for the little good of its contents.
I expected the original publication date to be older than 2004, as the book mentions listening to tapes of lectures and Qur'an recitations and having cassette players in the kitchen ("to benefit the lady of the house") and in the bedroom. أحببته مختصر كثير من الكتب التي قرأتها عن التربية والعلاقات الاسرية
Syaikh Shalih Al-Munajjid menulis buku ini yang berisi berbagai nasehat untuk keluarga Muslim, baik yang hendak membentuk keluarga baru maupun yang sudah berkeluarga untuk kehidupan yang lebih baik. Namun sayang sekali buku ini tidak diterjemahkan secara penuh oleh penerjemah, melainkan diringkas dan disusun ulang sehingga menjadi buku kecil berjudul Tuntunan Menggapai Keluarga Sakinah , dengan font yang juga kecil *_*.

The best part was the hadiths, I learnt a few new ones. However, it was quite negative, and felt like a book of "don't do" rules at best, avoiding this would have made it much more uplifting and inspiring...The author sometimes made some unfair generalisations and is ocasionally a little out of touch with reality. Overall, I give this book a rating of 3, the saving point was the inclusion of many hadiths. However, I'm sure there are higher quality and more insightful books published on this
