This book covers the basics. It would be better if it was updated, it's copyright is 1993. They could use a whole chapter now on technology and accommodations. It would be difficult for many LD teens to read so maybe an audio version with an illustrated book to accompany it would be good.

Outdated (includes words like "retarded"), super cheesy (no teen - or even pre-teen - would take this seriously), creepy illustrations. Then again it was published in 1993. The Survival Guide for Kids with LD looks more promising.
