My 6 year old read this and loved it. We have been trying to get him to love reading more. He only like Ricky Ricotta series and and few Magic Tree houses. But I got this book and said I'd give him a quarter if he would read it. He did. He came jumping down the stairs and said, "I don't like it.... I LOVE IT". Which was great to hear. He really thought it was funny, I'm going to get a few more from the author.

Rufus the scrub was probably the most boring book I read. It wasn't very interesting so I didn't find myself wanting to continue reading. Rufus wanted to play football, but he was clumsy, so he joined ballet in order to try and improve his clumsiness.

Tired, boring, predictable. This one will only be of interest to kids who've never seen anything like it before...and they'd have to be really young for that to be true.
