Hard to like when one of the protags is a 20 year-old with the mental/emotional/psychological development of a 5 year old.

Jared was sold to Lord Stuart at the age of 12 and for the next 8 years he's trained to be nothing but a sex slave. No, I didn't know this when I bought the book!
