This book is a lot like the gangster movies on tv. There are loan sharks, murders, gambling, kidnapping, and so on. Stella's husband, Johnny, gambles and loses. Something that the loan sharks don't take too kindly. After losing everything, then Stella gets kidnapped. Her father steps in to try to save her before it's too late. Full of action, thrill seekers will enjoy it.
